Opportunity—Senior / Project Managers

Role Description: To represent the client in the delivery of capital projects. The role encompasses the following main activities:

  • Day to day responsibility for delivery of multiple fast track projects
  • Administer and manage the technical advisory team
  • Assist Client with project reporting and delivery documentation
  • Attend project meetings as necessary to deliver the projects
  • Manage key stakeholders
  • Manage Client advisors
  • Manage project budgets, programmes and risks
  • Ensure compliance with the Client's policies and procedures
  • Assist the End User to identify suitable potential sites
  • Prepare funding business case submissions

Required Experience and Abilities:

  • Experience of delivering construction sector projects as a project manager
  • Membership of relevant professional organisation/s, e.g. APM, PMI, RICS, ICE, CIOB (Corporate Member)
  • Hold a suitable project / construction management qualification, e.g. BSc, MSc, etc.
  • Hold a current Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
  • Ability to work in teams, show a commitment to partnering and collaborative working
  • Ability to effectively review delivery in order to continually improve performance and standards
  • Be an effective communicator
  • Needs to be self-motivated
  • Willing to take a proactive part in the development of Starris Projects Ltd
  • Experience of delivering projects using Lean Thinking and Building Information Modelling (BIM) techniques will be to your advantage
